The Role

What You'll Do

Assist clients with personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming

Prepare nutritious meals and help with feeding if needed

Provide companionship and emotional support

Help with light housekeeping and laundry

Remind clients to take medications on schedule

Provide transportation to appointments and errands

Requirements

What We Need

At least 18 years old

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pass background check and drug screening

Compassionate, reliable, and professional

Able to lift up to 50 lbs if needed

Experience preferred but not required. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing Policy: As a condition of employment, Silver Home Care requires all applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment to successfully complete drug testing prior to beginning work. Testing will be conducted via saliva or urine sample and will screen for the following substances: Cocaine, Marijuana, Opiates, Amphetamines, Methamphetamine, and Benzodiazepines.

Your Rights: You have the right to refuse drug testing; however, refusal will result in withdrawal of any employment offer and termination of the application process. If you are taking prescription medications or over-the-counter drugs that may affect test results, you must disclose this information to the testing facility at the time of collection.

Challenging Results: If you believe your test results are inaccurate, you have the right to request an independent retest of the original sample at a SAMHSA-certified laboratory of your choosing, at your own expense, within three (3) business days of receiving notice of the results.
