Joyce is alert and oriented and resides in a senior housing setting. She is independent with activities of daily living (ADLs) and is able to complete personal care tasks on her own. At times, she may request standby or occasional hands-on assistance, and caregivers should be available to provide support when requested while continuing to promote her independence.
Joyce primarily benefits from assistance with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), including maintaining her environment, laundry, shopping, errands, and transportation to appointments. Care should focus on keeping her living space clean, organized, and free of tripping hazards, as well as supporting her ability to manage day-to-day tasks efficiently.
As of 03/09/2026, Joyce's schedule is Monday and Friday for approximately 4 hours per day. She is not currently utilizing all approved service hours. Additional days and hours may be scheduled at her request based on her needs and preferences.
Monday & Friday – approximately 4 hours per day
Joyce directs her care. Caregivers should ask Joyce at the start of each shift what she would like help with and support her priorities for the day.

Offer meal preparation for the current day and/or prepare meals for upcoming days based on Joyce's preferences.

Assist Joyce in maintaining a clean and organized home. Ensure the environment is free of clutter and tripping hazards.
Monday & Friday
Assist with grocery shopping or complete shopping using Joyce's list and preferences.
Provide transportation to medical appointments, errands, and community outings as needed.
Monday & Friday
Standby to assist with personal care if requested. Do not provide hands-on assistance unless needed.

Assist with laundry as requested, including washing, drying, and putting items away.
Joyce is independent with ADLs. The following tasks are only provided if she specifically requests assistance.
Assist with hygiene tasks if Joyce requests support.
Provide assistance with dressing if needed.

Assist with transfers if needed.
